HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Thalía Spanish Theatre is presenting bilingual world premiere of Jaime Salom's play La Callas & Medea. Directed, designed and produced by Ángel Gil Orrios, the play has an English translation by G.J. Racz and is scheduled for a May and June run in Thalía's eponymous theater in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Queens. The play's assistant director and stage manager is Héctor Luis Rivera and stars Soledad López; Kathy Tejada; Francisco Fuertes; Basílica Bliachas; Yvette Quintero; and Raúl Juliá, Jr. For more information, click here.

Teatro LATEA is presenting Evelyn Díaz Cruz's play Glass Cord. Directed by Aminta De Lara, the production is scheduled for a May run at LATEA's namesake theater in the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in the Loísaida neighborhood of Manhattan.
