HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Rodney Roldán will act in an episode of "FBI: Criminal Pursuit" (Investigation Discovery).

Raoul Daniel Luna's self-penned solo show My Last, Best Spouse was accepted as an official selection of the DC Queer Theatre Festival. The show will be directed by Jay Hardee and take place in May at the DC Center for the LGBT Community in the North West section of Washington, District of Columbia.

Antonio García, Jr.
is acting in the play Sh*thole. Written by Camilo Almonacid and directed by Shawn Renfro, the production is part of the Downtown Urban Theater Festival, which is taking place in March at HERE Arts Center in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. For more information, click here.

Gredivel Vásquez is currently performing in Mi bebé es un héroe. A bilingual (Spanish/English) puppet play for children written and directed by and co-starring Eduardo Navas, the production is having performances in April and May at Repertorio Español, located in Manhattan's Rose Hill district. For more information on the schedule of performances, click here.

Antonio Miniño, shown at left, e-mailed us to tell us the play in which he is acting, Parts of Parts & Stitches (written by Riti Sachdeva and directed by Cat Parker), was marked as a "Critic's Pick" in Back Stage. Produced by Maieutic Theatre Works (MTWorks) and Martha Goode, the show continues its run this month at the Theater at the 14th Street Y in Manhattan's East Village. For more information, go to the website for MTWorks by clicking here.
