Rafael Fuentes released his first single on iTunes. Titled "Drip Drop", it was written and performed by Fuentes (billed under his nom de musique Rafi Fuentes) and one can hear a sample (and/or buy the single) by clicking here.
Teatro SEA just returned from a tour of Mexico where it presented two productions– ¡Viva Pinocho! (adapted from the Carlo Collodi tale and directed by Manuel A. Morán) and La muela del rey Farfán (written by Serafín Álvarez Quintero and Joaquín Álvarez Quintero; with a new score by Morán and Iván Alexander Bautista and directed by Morán). The tour stops were Chihuahua, Chihuahua (at the Teatro de los Héroes) and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua (at the Teatro Víctor Rascón), respectively. The cast included Francisco Fuertes, Jesús E. Martínez, Morán, Chris Williams, Indra Palomo, Daisy Payero, Daniel D'Ambrosi and Shadia Almasri.
Claudio Weisz will soon be seen acting in La orgía. Written by Enrique Buenaventura, the play is directed by Iván L. Argudo and will be presented in September at the VIII Festival de Teatro de la Casa de la Cultura Navarrete at the Broadway Blackbox Theater, in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood.
