HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. EdnaLee Figueroa and Julián Juaquín star in the Alex Pérez play Julián and Romero. Directed and choreographed by Pérez, the play also stars Sebastian Stimman, Gonzalo Trigueros and Darren Flemming and will have a September run as part of the Dream Up theater festival, presented by the Theater for the New City, located in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood. Steven Vega will play the title role in The Fabulous Allen Parsons Show. Written by John Freda and directed by Eren T. Gibson, the play will perform on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the historic Stonewall Inn, located in Manhattan's West Village. For more information (or to buy tickets), click here.

Lorraine Rodríguez recently appeared in a "What Would You Do?" segment for "Primetime" (ABC), hosted by John Quiñones.

Lucio Fernández was a special guest performer for Jahye Kim and Madeleine Jansen at their concert at Bruno Walter Hall at Lincoln Center in Manhattan's West Side. The concert was part of the New York International Concerto Festival and an artistic call for world peace after 60 years of the Korean War armistice. For more information, click here or here.
