HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

Josean Ortiz and Amneris Morales will star in the New York premiere of La última plena que bailó Luberza. Written and directed by Ortiz (and based on a short story by Manuel Ramos Otero), the Marañao, Inc. production will have performances in June at the Roy Arias Theaters/Times Square Art Center, located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. Carlos A. González will be performing standup comedy at Niko's in White Plains, New York on Friday, May 10, 2013.

The film Under My Nails (written by Kisha Tikina Burgos, directed by Ari Maniel Cruz) will be screened on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Nyiha Film Festival at the The Maysles Cinema and Documentary Center, located in Manhattan's Harlem neighborhood. The film stars Iván Camilo, Burgos, Maité Bonilla, Rosie Berrido, Marilú Acosta, Dolores Pedro, Enrique Juliá, Miranda Purcell and Antonio Pantojas in the cast. For more information, click here.
