HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Lucio Fernández stars in Lucio... Less Cuban Than Ever!!! The cabaret, described as where Havana meets Broadway, features a nine-piece band, dancers and the comedy antics of "The Cuban Kid." Directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Mark Goodman and choreography by Megan Fernández, the show will have an October and November at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Café in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. For more information, click here.

Tony Chiroldes sang at the Laurie Beechman Theatre (in the theater district of midtown Manhattan) for Divapalooza, a benefit for Help is On The Way Today. He also performed at the Pablo Casals Symphonic Hall in Santurce, Puerto Rico at Perpetuo Perpetuo, a benefit in October for the Perpetuo Socorro School.

Pregones Theater is presenting Inside Out, written by Ricardo Pérez-González and directed by Jorge B. Merced. It is scheduled for an October run at Pregones' eponymous space in the Mott Haven area of the South Bronx and features Pérez González, Jesús E. Martínez, Omar Pérez, Sean Carvajal and Antonio Vargas in the cast.

John Leguizamo is performing his hit solo show Ghetto Klown (directed by Fisher Stevens) at the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood, California after engagements in New York on Broadway and in London.
