HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Javi Pérez, shown at right, starred in Alfonso Ramírez's play Yin/Yang. Directed by Machel Ross, the production was presented in January as part of the Venus/Adonis Festival at the Robert Moss Theater/440 Studios, located in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood.

Jeannie Sol will be one of the performers (along with Tito Nieves) of the 13th annual Latino Trendsetters Awards. Presented by Latin Trends magazine, the ceremony will be hosted by J.W. Cortés and Denise Bidot and take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Symphony Space, located in Manhattan's Upper West Side. For more information, click here.

Paul Mauriello, shown at left, is acting in the webseries "Mix-Matched". Conceived by Lina Sarrello, the webseries also stars Tom Schubert and Lailah Lancing, the improvisational comedy webseries deals with the world of online dating. (Mauriello received the audition for the webseries based on an HOLA referral).

Sebastian Stimman is starring in the feature film 1.7 Alpha (written, scored and directed by Quanah Jay Hicks). A trailer for the film (which recently wrapped production in New York City) can be seen below.

If you are an HOLA member or a Friend of HOLA and want to submit a bochinche item, send us an e-mail. If you live in the New York metropolitan area and want to be an HOLA member, why not join?
