HOLA Member Bochinche


Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

Ismael Cruz Córdova, shown at right, booked the series regular role of Mando (also known as Armando) on the popular PBS series "Sesame Street" after receiving the casting notice from HOLA and receiving a referral. Tony Plana will star as prosecutor Juan Martínez in the Lifetime television movie "Dirty Little Secret: The Jodi Arias Story". For more information, click here.

Francisco Ramos booked an episode of "Mysteries at the Museum" (The Travel Channel).

Raoul Daniel Luna is starring in the lead role of as Henry Bingham in Ken Ludwig's play The Fox on the Fairway. The production is directed by Chris Russoniello and set for a June run at the Somerset Valley Players Theater in Hillsborough, New Jersey. For more information, click here.

Laura Riveros will star in the Pedro Paredes play Illiterates. Directed and translated by Tara Elliot and will be presented in June as part of Farm Theater Projects at The Robert Moss Theater in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood. For more information, click here.

Kiki Meléndez is starring and co-directing (with Erick Crespo) the mockumentary Journey of a Female Comic. The film also stars Esaí Morales, María Conchita Alonso, Bel Hernández, Lupe Ontiveros and Jacob Vargas. A trailer for the film can be seen by clicking on the video below.
